Brand Marketing Manager, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)

Location: Hybrid (Remote with periodic in-office days required; fully remote considered based on qualifications)

About the Role:

We're looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to help drive growth and expand our portfolio in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. In this role, you'll support key initiatives to increase distribution, accelerate product velocity, and grow market share. You'll collaborate closely with teams across Integrated Marketing, Sales, R&D, Innovation, and Operations to enhance consumer awareness, drive product trials, and build brand loyalty.

What You'll Do:

Product Marketing & Innovation:

Become a subject matter expert on our product portfolio, ensuring a deep understanding of key offerings.
Support CPG innovation efforts, working with R&D and Innovation teams to bring ideas to market on time.
Assist in developing go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including pricing, packaging, merchandising, sales toolkits, positioning, communication, and promotional campaigns.
Provide content direction for website listings, Amazon, and retailer sites, ensuring accurate product representation.
Manage and update internal tools with detailed product information.

Market Research & Analysis:

Support primary consumer research and leverage secondary data sources to analyze category trends, shopper behavior, retailer strategies, and competitor activity.
Extract meaningful insights to shape brand strategy and competitive positioning.
Assist in state-of-the-business analysis, identifying opportunities for growth based on product performance, consumer feedback, research, and market trends.
Simplify complex data and insights to effectively communicate with sales teams and retail partners.

Marketing & Brand Execution:

Brief the Integrated Marketing team on CPG support tactics and collaborate on paid and owned marketing initiatives.
Develop creative briefs for internal or external teams to ensure CPG brand messaging aligns with business objectives.
Lead and execute Shopper Marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and drive conversion.
Analyze post-campaign results to measure effectiveness and optimize future marketing efforts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Creative, Innovation, International, and Operations to execute brand strategies.
Support internal performance analysis, prepare customer presentations, and contribute to promotional initiatives to drive business results.
Partner with retailers and external stakeholders to ensure strong brand positioning in the market.

Budget & Operations Management:

Assist in managing marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Maintain and update existing trackers, keeping data organized and accessible.
Document key processes and procedures to enhance team efficiency.
Communicate insights and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and digestible format.

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
3+ years of experience in CPG marketing, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
Strong track record of driving revenue growth and brand awareness.
Hands-on experience executing omnichannel marketing campaigns and understanding core marketing levers.
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
Experience leading Shopper Marketing programs across digital and retailer platforms.
Ability to work independently and proactively, anticipating team needs and providing solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a knack for simplifying complex data.
Proficiency in IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, Tableau, and other analytics tools is a plus.
Strong comfort with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
