Job Description

Vianney Vocations is looking for a top-level, experienced graphic designer for digital and print projects. Candidates must have a strong Catholic aesthetic and a desire to serve the Church by promoting vocations to the priesthood and religious life. This position that would include:

• Collaborate on our overall mission and vision at Vianney Vocations.
• Collaborate on brand identities for Vocation Offices.
• Support our Vocation Pathway clients by creating collateral for various campaigns and promoting 40+ vocation events annually.
• Complete graphic design projects, including books, seminarian posters, prayer cards, e-newsletters, event flyers, catalogues, social media graphics, etc.
• Help manage printing and mailing for clients.
• Act as managing editor of the quarterly Serran magazine.
• Attending various events, such as the NCDVD Convention and the Serra International Convention.
• Helping with product development for the Vianney Vocations web store.

• Have a Catholic design aesthetic which complements ours
• Have a clear and obvious talent for striking graphic design
• Have an impressive portfolio
• Are friendly and outgoing and can work collaboratively
• Can work with clients to complete projects, start to finish
• Has good writing skills
• Have good references from past clients / employers
• Have an understanding of Catholic vocations
• Understand event marketing
• Are easy to work with and have good people skills

Skills and Experience: Must be an expert user of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign. Familiarity with WordPress, Divi, and Canva is a plus. This job is geared toward people with several years of experience, who have worked on serious design projects within the Catholic Church. We prefer candidates who are willing to relocate to Tallahassee, FL. We would consider remote work for exceptionally talented designers.
