Bring your financial accounting expertise, work alongside the CFO performing hands on daily accounting.

Senior Accountant – Your Job Duties:
You will work directly with the CFO, supporting company accounting operations with both financial and managerial accounting.

• Perform month end close (including account reconciliations, accruals, creating and posting adjusting journal entries and closing entries)
• Preparing the monthly financial statement packages
• Perform monthly budget vs. actual analysis
• Manage fixed asset records including tracking acquisitions, depreciation, disposals, and performing regular reconciliations
• Accounts Payable support – process vendor invoices and expense reports
• Assist with payroll processing
• Assist with financial reporting needs for third parties (audit, tax and other third parties)
  

Senior Accountant - Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

You have:

• High degree of technical accounting acumen including GAAP / general ledger accounting, month end close, financial statement preparation and reporting and financial analysis
• Strong MS Excel skills including complex formulas, multi-tab spreadsheets, vLookups and Pivot Tables
• High attention to detail – you pride yourself on accurate data and getting the details right
• Desire for rapid growth – this is your opportunity to quickly advance into a Controller role
• Self direction – you work well in a remote environment, manage up and take responsibility for your career growth
  

This is a great opportunity if you are hungry to learn and grow QUICKLY and ready for that next step into Controller.

You will work 2-3 days per week in office in Folsom, and from your home office the remaining days. Your compensation will be $85,000 to $115,000 salary plus incentive bonus potential, DOE.
