Job Description

Ventura Growth is seeking a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is looking to grow a sales career in the (DSP) programmatic space. 

As SDR, you will be key in driving our growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers and booking discovery calls to expand our outbound pipeline. You will report to the Head of Sales and work closely with an Account Executive, supporting their growing book of business.

Established in 2021, Ventura Growth is the only purpose-built Certified Service Partner (reseller) for The Trade Desk. Alongside TTD, we are rapidly expanding platform access in the mid-market across North America. Based in Denver, Colorado, Ventura is the leading digital media partner for marketers looking to deliver successful marketing programs. 

WHO YOU ARE 

  • You bring 1-3 years of experience in digital media or platform sales, ideally in a BDR or entry-level sales role. Experience at a DSP like Basis, Simpli.fi, or StackAdapt, or within the SMB marketing/advertising sector, is a strong plus.
  • You thrive in the world of cold outreach, whether it’s through calls, emails, or LinkedIn, and have a knack for building meaningful relationships with potential clients.
  • You bring solid business development experience within the advertising technology space, and familiarity with The Trade Desk platform is a big plus.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to craft engaging, creative outreach messages—no cookie-cutter templates here.
  • You’re well-versed in using Salesforce, email sequencing tools (Outreach.io is a bonus), and LinkedIn Navigator to streamline your efforts and maximize results.
  • Developed expertise in The Trade Desk platform, mastering its best practices to provide valuable insights and guide clients through the prospecting process.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage new business leads, with the ultimate goal of securing time for further conversations with our sales team. 
  • Get creative with outreach—develop, test, and refine messaging that cuts through the noise.
  • Deliver clear, impactful communication to external partners and clients
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Executive Team to develop and execute strategies that drive significant client growth.
  • Represent Ventura Growth at industry events and networking opportunities, building connections within our space.

Please note this role is open to candidates across all relevant US markets. The information below is provided for those hired in Colorado only. 

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is a base salary of $60,000-$70,000 base salary with a quarterly incentive package that will be discussed before the official offer

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. 

If you're based in Denver, this hybrid role requires working from our downtown Denver office every Tuesday and Thursday.
