Role Overview


Sodexo Government Services is looking for a Retail Manager 2 to join our team at one of our high-profile accounts in McLean VA! The Retail Manager will work in one of the buildings on campus that has a cafe that is open for Breakfast and Lunch, a Starbucks location and Subway Operation. The Retail Manager 2 will have an MV of 2 million, will be responsible for the directing, planning and coordinating of all retail dining in front of the house and back of the house systems to support food quality, customer service and strict adherence to company policy and procedures

This position requires you be a US Citizen only (Dual citizenship is not acceptable). You must have a Valid Driver’s License, and it must be REAL ID.

This position requires an extensive Government Background Check.

Incentives


Predominately a M-F scheduled from 6am to 4pm, very rare evenings or weekends

What You'll Do


  • frontline staff of 17
  • department HACCP and food safety programs for regulatory compliance
  • frontline training programs
  • opening and closing the operation; and daily operation standards.
  • working with the chef on menu planning
  • some ordering with the mgmt team
  • ensuring smooth meal service
  • ensuring brand standards
  • cash handling
  • providing excellent customer service
