Loving Toyota is seeking an experienced Master Technician/Shop Foreman to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional with a strong technical background and leadership abilities. As the Shop Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring the team delivers quality work in an efficient and timely manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing other technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct all shop activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on a variety of vehicles.
• Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians, ensuring continuous development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and tools.
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct quality control inspections of completed work.

Requirements:

• ASE Master Technician certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead technician or shop foreman.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an automotive service department.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or operate tools and equipment.
