We are looking for an experienced and skilled Handyman/ Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain our Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facility. The candidate will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for various tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC troubleshooting, and minor construction tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs in the facility such as carpentry, painting, flooring repairs, etc.
• Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair GMP related facility equipment including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce the occurrence of future problems and breakdowns of equipment/systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Communicate regularly with the engineering team and other relevant teams about the current status, problems, and solutions regarding facility maintenance tasks.
• Participate in basic facility changes like layout alterations as per requirement.
• Handle various minor construction tasks as directed.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role.
• Knowledge of GMP facility operations and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Good manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Understanding and adherence to all safety procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:
Entry Level Position: Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience.
Mid Level Position: Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience preferably in a GMP facility.

Location: Onsite role Millburn, NJ
Pay Rate: $35 - $37/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 6-month
