We are seeking a talented and experienced Hadoop Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Hadoop Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications using the Hadoop ecosystem.
You will work closely with our team of data engineers and analysts to create scalable and high-performance data processing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement Hadoop-based applications
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Hadoop clusters
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements
- Create data pipelines for processing and analyzing large datasets
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Hadoop applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in big data and Hadoop technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience working with Hadoop ecosystem technologies, such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- US citizenship or authorization to work in the US
